Large Group Training — The Future of Group Fitness
Group fitness shouldn't mean doing a random workout that has nothing to do with what you did yesterday or what you'll do tomorrow. At KC Tranzform, large group training is real functional HIIT — built to get you moving better, building muscle, and burning fat — run on a thought-out weekly system, with the freedom to make every session your own.
It's coaching, not just a class. Every workout is programmed with intention, balanced across the week, scaled to you, and led by a coach who's paying attention..

A System, Not Just a Sweat
Here's what sets us apart: we don't repeat workouts, but we never train without a plan. The focus of each day stays consistent week to week, while the formats and exercises change every single week — so your body keeps adapting and you're never bored. Strength patterns, conditioning styles, and recovery are deliberately balanced so you build a complete, resilient body instead of overworking one area. The ultimate customization meets large group community.
How the Week Works
Monday, Wednesday & Friday — Focus Days
You get to choose the best class that fits you and your goals. Targeted sessions that move through complementary movement patterns across the week, so nothing gets overtrained and everything gets stronger.
- Monday — Push Day OR Low impact Conditioning: Upper and lower pushing strength paired with a machine-driven metcon to fire up your engine.
- Wednesday — Pull Day OR Plyometric Power: Upper and lower pulling strength paired with plyometric, explosive conditioning.
- Friday — Power, Core OR Weighted Metcon: Athletic, full-body power work and core, capped with a conditioning finisher we hit together as a group.
Tuesday, Thursday & Saturday — Bootcamp
Classic, full-body bootcamp — the format that's worked for years and still delivers — with each day bringing something different.
- Tuesday: Total body with an upper-body focus and mobility.
- Thursday: Total body with a lower-body focus and stability.
- Saturday — Community Creations: This one's yours. Members choose the workout — Butts & Guts, Arm Farm, Legs & Lungs, a deck-of-cards grind, and more. A different member-driven challenge every week to close out the week together.
Built Around You
It's all programmed, but none of it is rigid. Every movement can be scaled up or down, and your coach helps you customize the work to your level, your goals, and what your body needs that day. Brand-new or years in — same room, same energy, your own version of the workout.
- Functional HIIT training that transfers to real life
- A balanced weekly system that builds strength, conditioning, and athleticism — without overtraining
- Fresh formats and exercises every week, so it never gets stale
- A member-driven Saturday that puts the workout in your hands
- Move better, build muscle, burn fat — the results that matter
- Coaching and a community that shows up for each other
What You Get
Common Questions About Group Bootcamp Training
These are the questions that come up most often from people considering bootcamp sessions or trying to understand how the format works in practice.
What makes this different from a regular gym workout?
You follow a coach-led program with built-in structure, pacing, and variation, rather than deciding what to do on your own each session.
How do coaches handle different fitness levels in one class?
They provide modifications and scaling options during the session so each movement can be adjusted based on your current ability or any limitations you're working around.
What kind of equipment is used during bootcamp sessions?
You'll work with barbells, dumbbells, kettlebells, pull-up bars, rowers, and other functional training tools depending on the workout design for that day.
When should I attend bootcamp sessions in Grand Rapids?
Most people fit sessions into their schedule two to four times per week, depending on recovery needs and other training commitments.
Why does the workout change from day to day?
Variation prevents adaptation plateaus and keeps your body responding to new stimuli, which supports continued progress in both strength and conditioning.
